For 45 years, IMI Delhi has stood at the intersection of management education, industry, and society. Established in 1981 as India’s first corporate-sponsored business school, IMI Delhi was founded on a distinctive idea: that management education must remain closely connected to the realities, aspirations, and responsibilities of the corporate world. That philosophy continues to guide us today.

As we look ahead, we do so with pride in our legacy and a deep sense of responsibility for the future. The world of business is changing at a pace that demands more than periodic curriculum updates. It calls for a fundamental rethinking of how we prepare responsible managers and leaders.

At IMI Delhi, we are shaping a management education experience that is contemporary, rigorous, experiential, and deeply human.

Our curriculum is evolving alongside industry requirements, integrating emerging technologies, new business models, sustainability, global perspectives, and the changing nature of work and the changing nature of the new age employee. Yet, while tools and technologies will change, certain capabilities will remain evergreen. Our students must learn to frame the right problems, exercise sound outcome judgment, refine processes, work resourcefully within constraints, think creatively, collaborate across boundaries, and be AI-savvy without surrendering human judgment.

This philosophy extends beyond the classroom. We are investing in cutting-edge pedagogy and enriching student life through active, applied, collaborative, and reflective learning. Live business challenges, simulations, projects, cases, practitioner interactions, and diverse campus experiences help students develop not only managerial competence, but also resilience, curiosity, collaboration, and leadership.

Our internationalization efforts broaden horizons intellectually and culturally, preparing students to lead in an interconnected global economy.

Our alumni are among our most important stakeholders and ambassadors. We are strengthening alumni outreach and engagement so that the IMI Delhi community remains connected across generations, geographies, and professions.

A leading business school must also contribute to the conversations shaping business and society. We will continue to strengthen research, thought leadership, and interdisciplinary scholarship, translating knowledge into insights that can inform organizations, practitioners, policymakers, and society.

And none of this is possible without our people. Our faculty and staff are the custodians and creators of the IMI Delhi experience.
