Hi, I have been handling twin roles in current profile - one as Business Development & Sales and secondly as Sourcing and it leads to most important and most profitable / lean supply chain which we call it as Demand Driven Supply Chain. Through out my career I have been handling Sourcing & SCM for Plant procurement which includes Plant Operations, Inventory, JIT etc. and i would take this journey w.r.t experience sharing with students w.r.t. challenges in manufacturing units, why forecasting is important, inventory management etc.
