IMI concluded the Certificate Program on General Management skills on February 24, 2017. The six weeks program started on January 16, 2017. A total of 32 participants from 23 countries participated in the program. The broad objectives of the program are to equip executives with general management skills and functional area knowledge necessary for managerial roles. The program focuses on enhancing the various skills of the participants for effective decision making. Further, it also provides a learning platform where participants from various nationalities get to learn from each other.
The participants get exposure to various topics on management like Economics, Accounting Theory & Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Managing People and Organizations, Quantitative Tools for Management Decisions, Information Technology for Decision Making, Research Methodology, Forecasting, Operations Management, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Leadership & Change, Cross Cultural Management, Strategy Formulation and Implementation etc. In addition to the class-room learning, participants were also taken for an industrial visit to Mother Dairy Plant.
