An industry veteran with more than 25 years of senior leadership experience, Rajiv Bhalla is the Vice President & Managing Director at Barco Electronic Systems Pvt. Ltd, a 100% owned subsidiary of BARCO NV Belgium. In his role at the organisation, Rajiv spearheads the formulation and execution of business strategies with an end-goal of expanding Barco�s local footprint in the India market and tapping into the country�s enormous business potential. He is also the legal representative of Barco India. Rajiv graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) from Mumbai University and holds an MBA from International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi. Over the course of his career, he has been associated in leadership positions with global technology leaders like Intel, NEC, Microsoft, and Thomson Consumer Electronics. A result-driven leader, Rajiv holds a deep understanding of the B2B and B2C aspects of the technology business. Under his leadership: (1)Barco India has witnessed double-digit growth for two consecutive years through reinforcing the organization in India by setting up an �in country, for country� strategy coupled with developing India-specific offerings, value definitions, market approaches and price points. (2) Barco is working closely on Government of India's 'Make in India' and �Smart Cities� initiatives (3) Barco is scaling up its Software & Hardware R&D facility in India thereby creating incremental jobs.
