A board level COO/CCO and general manager with specific experience in the TMT sector gained in blue chip brands, managing large-scale budgets & teams. Have a proven track record of aggressively growing revenues and transforming challenged or underperforming businesses in hyper-competitive & complex markets across Asia & Sub-Saharan Africa. The major portion of this experience has been in growth and turnaround environments, building and commercialising insight based customer propositions. The breadth of this experience has provided a balance of strategic and operational expertise. Areas of expertise include operations management, marketing, sales & distribution, digital strategies including strategic partnership development, segmentation, product & pricing strategy. Previously, was with the Axiata Group Bhd, Malaysia as the Head of Group Marketing, covering operating companies and associates in 10 countries across Asia generating revenues of US$5Bn from over 300 million customers, and a market capitalisation of approximately US$15Bn. Prior to this, have been in various C-Level operational roles with the CK Hutchison & Bharti Airtel group across Asia & Africa. Presently based out of India. Have lived and/or worked extensively across South Asia (India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka), South East Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia & Cambodia), Africa (Zambia) & Europe (Finland) holding key executive positions.
