  • About 38 years experience in all aspects of HRM,HRD including Capacity Building, Organisation Design & Culture Building, Training, Regulatory Issues, Statutory Compliances, RTI, Corporate Governance, CSR in (1) Power Generation (2)Transmission and (3) Engineering industry with more than ten years experience in senior management position
  • After superannuation from POWERGRID on 30th November 2010, I was Consultant with Ernst & Young  till December 2012
  • Since February, 2013 I am working with IMI, New Delhi as Professor, OBHR Area

  • During 2013-14, was involved in teaching in six courses-partly and wholly for PGDM HR, Executive PGDM and PGDM WE Programs
  • Was also involved in conduct of Open and Corporate Management Development Programs
  • Initiated the work related to Research in the area of Employee Engagement and Employee Satisfaction in North Eastern Electric Corporation Limited, Shillong, and National Aluminium Company Limited, Bhubaneswar

Ernst & Young Limited, Gurgaon

  • Concluded an assignment on restructuring & reorganistion of the corporation and reengineering of HR processes and systems Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and NTPC Limited

           ·          Improved per capita productivity and reduced average employee costs by about 33 percent

  • Vendor development and implementation of systems & processes for ensuring safety, quality, project management and delivery on sound commercial principles through training
  • Pooling of education & training facilities and implementing exchange programs amongst POWERGRID,NTPC,NHPC,THDC & SJVNL etc in the power sector
  • Established specialized centers of excellence for training in specialized skills viz. hot line maintenance, transformer, ERS, auxiliaries etc
